March 1 | Biblio Bus Field Trip (New Haven, CT): William Reese Company and the Beinecke Library, Yale University. Open to all undergraduate students (Not just Brown/RISD)

Join the Watts History of the Book Program on the Biblio Bus day trip to New Haven, Connecticut on Friday, March 1. Travel to New Haven on a luxury motor coach, and enjoy an exclusive seminar with George Miles, Curator of the Western Americana Collection at the Beinecke Library, Yale University. Then eat lunch with Bill Reese at his offices and learn about the book trade at William Reese Company. The staff at William Reese Company is among the leading specialists in the fields of Americana and world travel, and maintain a large and eclectic inventory of literary first editions and antiquarian books of the 18th through 21st centuries.

ITINERARY:
8:00AM – Bus leaves John Carter Brown Library, corner of George and Brown Streets, Providence, RI
10:15AM – Arrive at Yale University, Beinecke Library
10:30AM-12:00PM – Seminar at Beinecke Library with George Miles, Curator of Western Americana
12:15-1:15PM – Boxed lunch at William Reese Co.
1:15-3:15PM – Tour and talk with Bill Reese at William Reese Co.
3:15PM – Depart William Reese Co.; return to JCB Library, Providence 
5:30PM – Arrive at JCB Library, Providence
